Use of Royalty Free Images
Need a new logo, or a photo, to enhance an article that you just posted on your website? Try royalty free photos. The ones that I use are only about $1 US each for unlimited web use. One of the newest that I just discovered is 123 Royalty Free. You can register for free and a completed registration gets you one free web sized image. They also have free downloads of the day/week.
To see how I use these images, check out a blog entry I made, as well as the corresponding traditional web site article. I think that the image adds to the look-and-feel of the page/article without overwhelming it.
The original jpg file was 1511 x 756 px, which is a very generous size for web use. I sized it down to 200px wide for the above article.
