Digital Photo Editing

After more than fifty years from the first manifestations of digital arts, some people still are confused by this term. The entire complex of modern designs and computer arts, pixels and mega pixels, image colors and displays, make many people feel dizzy and hopelessly confused. If a digital image gallery can be called: graphic arts, then why a gallery full of digital photo printing images can’t be also called a display of digital arts?

We can’t even talk about digital photo printing and image editing without referring at least once at the software and computer technology behind it. The history of digital arts has different starting points, depending on what you are trying to emphasis. Even if, from a strictly chronological point of view, the first graphic materials produced on a computer are Ben Lpovsky’s oscillations, the digital arts actually emphasis computer tendencies that are specific to the 70s, when the thriving point of birth of digital photo printing registered.

Today, digital arts have their own social environment. Past art collection were made up of unique and original object and no copies were as valued as the original, regardless of the improvements they might’ve brought to the art object. Old art objects that were hand made are characterized by a certain unique vibe that can let you still feel the artist’s hands touching them. This is why art dealing is so much alike slavery, because when you own a piece of art you enslave a part of the respective artist. In the case of digital arts, there is no artist connection, there’s just an abstract creator behind the display. The digital photo printing process can reveal a tangible image, but it starts out in an abstract computerized environment. When printed, the computer images become just like usual art paintings. But printing will change the light relationship substantially. The artist conceived his work on a computer screen, that can not be illuminated as a painting is, it, by definition, radiates light and does not reflect it. This is precisely why buying a work of art online, may be disappointing when you get the result at home. Creators could test the design by printing it themselves, but this could seriously affect the well-being of the outcome.

Some digital art galleries do offer the possibility of buying the digital format of the image. The wonder of digitalized arts is best seen on a computer, that’s why digital frames under the form of large LCDs are exposed in digital art galleries. photo printing services
