I came across an awesome book on trick photography, written by Evan Sharboneau. It has 3 modules.
Module 1: Long Exposure Effects and Light Painting
In Evan's first module he teaches us how to light-paint like a pro! I first figured out one technique for this back in the 1970's and won first place at a county fair. Evan goes into a lot more depth and detail than I ever figured out on my own. Continue Reading »

This seems to be the hot camera for our young girls.
The Good: It is a real digital camera which takes photos and videos.
The Bad: There are lots of navigational buttons that may confuse younger photographers.
In a Nutshell: This durable camera is a fun way to inspire creativity for ages 3 and up. It requires 4 AA Batteries and a computer with Windows 2000 or newer needed for some effects.
