EOS-1D Mark III
Announced Feb 21, 2007. Entirely new 10.1 Megapixel Canon CMOS Sensor (APS-H size, 1.3x lens conversion factor), featuring the EOS Integrated Cleaning System. World's fastest digital SLR: shooting up to 10 fps, with a burst rate up to 110 full-resolution JPEG images or 30 RAW images. All new high-precision AF system with 19 user-selectable AF points and 26 additional "assist points"; superior low-light performance and faster operation. New lighter body with enhanced weather resistance and outstanding reliability: featuring a shutter that's durability-tested to 300,000 exposures. Dual "DIGIC III" Image Processors work with new CMOS sensors to produce superb image quality; new Highlight Tone Priority option adds control of bright highlights.
Rebel XTi
Announced August 23, 2006. This is a high performance digital SLR with a 10.1 Megapixel Canon CMOS sensor and large 2.5-inch LCD monitor. It can do 3 frames-per-second shooting with an up to 27-frame burst, and has a 0.2 second startup time. Another new feature is the XTi's Integrated Cleaning System that self cleans the image sensor.
EF 50mm F / 1.2 L series lens
Announced August 23, 2006. A new L series lens with a wide aperture.
EF 70-200 F/4 L IS
Announced August 23, 2006. A new L series zoom with image stabilization.
Powershot A630
Announced August 23, 2006. A new affordable Powershot series digital camera with 8.0 Megapixel resolution and powerful Canon 4x Optical Zoom. The A630 also has a large 2.5 inch Vari-Angle LCD monitor with wide viewing angle for easier on-camera viewing. Its movie mode does recording with sound at 30 fps VGA (640x480).
Powershot A640
Announced August 23, 2006. Canon's first A Series digital camera with 10.0 Megapixel resolution and 4x Optical Zoom lens. It also sports the new 2.5 inch Vari-Angle LCD monitor with wide viewing angle for easier on-camera viewing. Its movie mode does recording with sound at 30 fps VGA (640x480).
Powershot A710
Announced August 23, 2006. Canon's first A Series digital camera with proprietary Image Stabilizer Technology for steady shooting at all zoom settings. The A710 has 7.1 Megapixel resolution with a powerful Canon 6x Optical Zoom in an elegant dark metallic body. Large 2.5-inch LCD monitor with wide viewing angle for easier on-camera viewing.
